The unrestricted camping is set to be replaced with a land holders systems known as “Crofting”

Previously there the public had open use of 4 main camping areas of Cowah Falls, Trakka Terrace, The Gums and Fig Tree and was one of the rare locations that Campfires and Dogs were allowed.

The property has a number of natural attractions including  the head waters of the Brisbane River, creeks and waterfalls and will be a big loss to the 4wd community. Abundant wildlife along with freshwater fishing, swimming, bush walking, mountain climbing, bird watching and picturesque scenery is now to be in the hands of its new land owners.
